OUR COLORS
Our colors represent a long history and we represent them with pride and respect. Our colors pay homage to African Americans of the 9th and 10th Calvary who sacrificed their lives so that our country could be what it is today. Our colors are a badge of courage, sacrifice, and honor as are those that continue to serve.
The National Association of Buffalo Soldiers & Troopers Motorcycle Club (N.A.B.S.T.M.C.) is an organization of professional men and women that are dedicated to the sport of motorcycle riding and safety.
Our chapter is one of over 100 chapters across the country. There currently are eight chapters of the N.A.B.S.T.M.C. in Virginia: Petersburg, Central, Hampton Roads, Charlottesville, Northern Virginia, Richmond, Roanoke, and Southside.
We give back to the community through financial donations, scholarships, volunteering, and sharing the rich history of the Buffalo Soldiers. The Southside Virginia chapter is a 501c3 organization.
We ride our motorcycles (Iron Horses) to represent the horses that were ridden by the Buffalo Soldiers during the 1800s. Our objective is to educate those that are unfamiliar with the sacrifices and hardships that the Buffalo Soldiers of the 9th and 10th U.S. Calvaries had to endure.
OUR VISION
Our vision is to instill this knowledge into the minds and hearts of our youth of today so that we can motivate them to become better citizens and leaders of tomorrow. We are contributors in our local communities and throughout the United States by supporting charitable needs and educating others, especially our youth. We educate communities regarding the sacrifices that were made by not only the Buffalo Soldiers but also other African and Native Americans during the pre and post civil war periods.
